I currently have an m18x with 2x 6970 cards about 3-4 years old now.
Runs good but I just got out of military and want a desktop.
I game on it.
Diablo3, Wow, BF, etc. I want a good gaming desktop for a few years.

Should I buy a pre-bought desktop from Ibuypower or such?
or
Should I build a pc.

1500$ only.

you could buy parts from ncix and pay them to build it for you. its an additional $50. it comes with a 1 year hardware warranty, and theyll install windows for you if you purchase a license.

Fill this beast out:

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

To answer your questions:

Build your own, especially @ $1,500 price-point.

Depending on what you need / already have, this will build you a very solid rig for a good few years.

This too. If you're not entirely comfortable putting it together or just don't wanna fuck with it, $50 w' 1 year warranty isn't bad at all, and you'd still save money for better parts by purchasing everything you need individually.
