Check out: Staples, Bush Online, Ikea, and if you're into glass...1/2" thick glass will support 200 lbs., even with a 40" gap between supports.

/e Ikea also sells 1.5 inch thick butcher block type counter tops if you want to roll your own desk.

I've looked on IKEA and Staples - not much for gaming computer desks that I can see

cardboard boxes are a nice touch

lots of "gamers" use IKEA desks. the leg pieces and table tops all work together. you can essentially make that bitch as big as you want, decide if you want L or no L, can make it more sturdy by getting a drawer unit or two ( replaces legs, is same height, will feel more solid ), different color tops, can add mini shelfs ( like a monitor shelf to have them elevated ), etc etc. its an excellent choice, but i would only do it if you have an IKEA nearby to buy the parts. otherwise shipping not only costs more, but runs a risk of damaging the table tops.

otherwise, desks are not so universal. really just depends on what is in your area, etc.
