Well, I just built my new PC and within two weeks I spilled water inside it.

My MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4g is dead.

The setup:

i5-4690k
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4b (FUCKING DEAD)
Gigabyte z97x
Corsair hx750
Corsair h100i
Cooler Master HAF 932
8gb G.SkiLL Sniper series RAM

What's the point without a fucking GPU?

Well I mean... Do you put glasses of water on top of your PC? Does it sit unsheltered on the floor next to your desk (not under it)? Is there a dammed river running through your house and the dam expelled too much water?

I'm just honestly confused.

Either way, sorry that sucks.

Had water in front of my keyboard which is stupid but I was dealing with a bad bout of acid reflux, which water is the only thing that helps me so I had that shit as close to my face as possible, only to accidentally bump it and watch it spill in slow motion into my PC.

Note: the ONLY reason I didn't have my computer underneath my desk or in a better spot is because I literally cannot find a desk that has room for my displays and room for this huge fucking case beneath it. So I had to put it as shown in the picture. BIG fucking mistake.

I'm not trying to throw a pity party or expect any real comments aside from "well, shouldn't have had water in the same ZIP code as your computer". I just had to vent. Work has been rough, this has been rough. Just had to get it off of my chest. I could cry.

Put your h100i in the freezer upside down (so all the water is inside the radiator) and wait for it to crack. Submit a warranty request with Corsair. They might replace your gpu if you blame it on AIO leak =P

I have had the GPU for about 3 months. I bought it in mid December while on vacation. Think they will take it even if it was MY fuckup?

Or is there a chance that I could play it off as "I just tried to turn it on the other day and my display was ALL messed up! I tried the troubleshooting options and it just isn't working!"

I think they would know better.
