When i connected my pc to the tv the resolution was set to 1080p and it was too big, it didn't fit the screen after installing the drivers. Not sure what the problem is.

Ok I had that problem, ended up being resolved by going into my actual monitor's display menu. The card was fine, but the monitor settings were off.

Somewhere in the picture settings, needs to be set to standard, or 100%. Something like that in your tv menu.

Right but when I did this my resolution changed to 1600 by XXX. It wasn't 1080p anymore. Had to go into my monitor menu and adjust one of the settings. The nvidia panel got the screen size right, but at the wrong resolution. I could tell you exactly where but I'm not at my computer.

Ok from my monitor menu: Picture settings -> Screen Size -> Full 100%
other options from this menu were: Normal, Wide, Cinema, and Zoom. All of these options resulted in my screen being too big, and wouldn't fit right. Maybe you can find these settings on your tv.
