I need a new cpu fan. Not looking to spend a fortune. Bought one and it turned out to be a 4pin connector instead of 3 and that screwed me. I have an AMD mother board with the A3 socket. My case has about 5.5inch of clearance for a heatsink/fan. It needs to be really quiet and really effective. LMK

The 4th pin is just fan speed control. It will work fine on a 3 pin connector.

The CM Hyper TX3 is 139mm or 5.4 inches tall. Make SURE you have 5.47 inches from the top of the CPU itself, to the left interior side of the case.
