I am going to purchase this locally in the next day or so for 750$ monitor 20' hp monitor included

r9 280x xfx 3gb black edition
Msi z87-g45 gaming motherboard
corsair 600w PS
Cooler master haf 935 case
Cooler master heat sink (white and red??)
only 250 gb 7200 rpm HD
windows 7 included.

it feels like a solid build for a good price any input? i will later get a bigger HD and a SSD

12 GB of RAM is a little confusing.

If not, its probably just a 212 Evo with a custom fan or other similar cooler with a custom fan. CM coolers are pretty generic aluminum finned with a black fan.

If so, thats all about $1250 brand new, excluding the monitor. How old is it? Was it ever overclocked? $750 does seem like a good price for it. You can try to talk him down a bit.

Haha no it was not that beastly looking thing, it has 3x 4gb sticks its like a white fan casing red fan and red heat sink i have no idea what it is lol.

He says since his kids been born he hasn't been using it to its potential. He sent me a vid of it booting up and Msi and card program and showed me the window rating all 7.9 besides the hdd obviously

Buy it.
Sell the 280x.
Buy a GTX 970.
