http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146030

i've had this box for several years my friend who left town left it behind because the motherboard is garbage. i'm gutting it and i want to give it new life and i like stuff like this, proof that someone was there. hes a good friend of mine and we still talk.(things like these are very valuable to me)

Anyway I have a $650-700 budget to spend on parts

i currently have 1 250 gig hd that was already in the old case, power supply, cd drive, replacing pretty much everything else(New Mother board new ram new hard drives new processor) and was planning on just using the old graphics card from 2008 until i can upgrade.
Any ideas?

i realize cooling will be an issue and i'd rather go with intel over amd so i can upgrade more in the future. I plan to just upgrade this until i'm happy with it but for now I want to take what I can and use it in the best way possible.

can someone please pick some stuff out for me for options? the problem here is the amount of space in the case, and cooling options. thats why I was thinking intel over amd.
i've also had very bad experiences with this stuff in the past. I had an alienware laptop and that died, built my own and had a terrible time with it because i picked my own parts with very little knowledge.

I'm looking to skip the difficult part and have somebody knowledgable give me a hand in pointing me in the right direction. I have someone who can help me build in real life and I'm paying him $100 to do so.

I picked this for CPU, Mobo and Ram
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wc44Bm

Picked a yellow mobo because i thought it would look good in the blue, but if you have a differnt color i can try again.
Also im confused on what other parts you need. You say you have a 250 gig HDD but also that youre replacing it.

If you make it more clear i can add more parts.

I am going to add 2 more HDD including the third so I can run Raid 0
board isn't that great and bad memory

I like the yellow a lot actually!

I like it, as I said it was my friends and he is gone now which makes it more valuable to me which is why I'm set on this case.

I'm sorry you didn't like those choices. To help me, i'll need you to be more specific because I don't know what you mean by "not great" board and "bad" ram. ^_^
