My graphics card no longer works (water damage). The rest of my computer is fine.

I had an MSI GTX670.

I am looking for a graphics card that will perform EQUALLY or BETTER than this. Looking to spend about 300. I am having trouble finging the same one, so i want newer.

Thanks

Would nice to see specs of the rest of your system as well...
Without that information and assuming your CPU is not too outdated and your PSU can handle it --> R9 290 (best price/performance) or GTX 970 (very close in price/performance; more efficient).

I found that. Will that work with my build? Seems like it will be equivalent or better than the gtx 670. Am i right to assume this?

I appreciate all the help

Power supply is missing from your build.
But since it could obviously power a 670, there won't be any problems with a 970 either. R9 290 will draw a little more power.

The one you linked (as all other 970s as well) will work with your build. Just watch out for possible problems with the cards' lengths and the space your case offers.

I play:

dark souls 2 (i play this the most, so i may play future games like it)
counter strike
civ 5 (cause the new one sucks)
dayz
diablo 3
diablo 2 (pretty sure i can run this on my phone lol)

I think thats it.

if dont need the 970 i wont get it. saving 100 would be nice lol

also, is the 960 better than the 670?
