Got a 500 dollar Gift Card for Best Buy from Grandma towards a TV since I am moving into my first House from my apartment

Long story short, I can toss in some extra cash to sweeten the pot, but even if it costs 100-200 more at BB because of the gift card I simply must purchase here. ( and no im not willing to go through the hassle of selling the gift card on kijiji for cash and then shopping elsewhere, i have a job and a daughter and responsibilities other than trying to hustle online lol )

My wants

50-60 inches ( could live with like 48-49 viewing space )

Fantastic picture quality

TV will be in a large basement that is relatively dark with the lights out, no glare from sunshine etc

This is all i really care about, max budget is 899 dollars before taxes but id like to spend less

I don't need smart tv or 4k, but if its the best tv in the budget range i don't mind...

this is the best i could find...

anyone with a better idea?

Just depends what your going to do with the tv. Simply watch movies or do hardcore gaming.

mostly just going to watch movies with my young daughter and some raptors games.

Will also be used when family comes over for movie nights, kids cartoons, and sometimes if friends come over for mild gaming, all my competitive gaming is done on PC
