Found this guy on Craigslit with pc parts for sale.
So far, I've bought the following from him:

NZXT 810 Switch case
Corsair Vengeance 1866 DDR3 16 GB
Corsair CS750M PSU with all cables
price paid: $200.00

Now, he's offering me the following:

i7 3960X cpu
Corsair H80 liquid cooling
Asus Sabretooth X79
for $450.00

Getting mixed reviews from other forums/friends about the 3960x.

Should I just stick with my original 4590K and MSI Z97 Krait plan or should I go with this deal?

Well if just gaming, I don't think the money spent would equal performance.
I think an I5 would be the smart choice. I may be biased though, because i find the Krait to be one of the sexiest looking mobos out there.

However, I dont think his offer price is terrible. If can talk to 375-400, then that would probably be my consideration spot.
