Trying to decide on what os to go with

I hate windows 8 tiles and stuff but I hear there's a shell you can use

I'm really only considering using windows 8 for the extra security, faster load time and newer os

I'm leaning towards just staying with windows 7 but what do you guys think

8.1, wont really matter cos ur gonna get 10. Unless 10 is a fail

Win 8 has no better security than Win 7 bro. In fact Win 8 or 8.1 is just Win7 with a new User Interface...aka the tiles. Both will recieve the free upgrade to Win 10 (if desired) and Win 7 will continue to get Windows Updates till 2020.

Yeah but Win 10 is gonna be cloud based OS...in other words...M$ gonna own your data.

That sounds terrible.

So do you recommend just stick with windows 7?

dont listen to ghot, he is old and stuck in his ways, he actually has been using win 7 just over 2 yrs cuz he was so stuck in his ways with xp

I like windows 8.1 more after using it for a couple months.
