I've used this to try and figure out if i have to wait for the next group of video cards to finish my PC, but I'm hoping to use my old monitor until a 1440p ultra wide 144hz monitor comes out.

my question is, what is the overhead going to be, can a 3440x1440 144hz work over dp1.2? i doubt it will, considering how close it is with 24 bit (i don't really even know what that means)
