Regular Z97 Fatal1ty is bad. The Z97X Fatal1ty is pretty good though.

Out of those though, the ASUS Z97-K or the GA-Z97X-SLI

1. Why a k-CPU and Z97 board if you don't plan to overclock rly? No need for those then.
2. You won't notice a difference at all between those boards except for 5-10 mV difference when trying to get your OC stable...
3. ImO stay away from "Killer" networking chips... they're bad / at least worse than the more often used standard chips
(4. personal preference: Stay away from Gigabyte if you plan to use some case fans without a hardware fan control. Their fan connectors are really annoying - 4pin non PWM - and it's hard to get fans to work well with your fan control software)

Conclusion:

If you think you WILL overclock (4690k should do 4,5 GHz on all cores), get a Z97 board. Set your filters according to what and how many ports etc. you need and then get the cheapest.
If you think OC is not for you, get a H97 board (again, according to how many ports you think you need etc.) and live happily ever after...

Nah I got it right then. But still... ImO either push your 4690k to those ~4,5 GHz or you can easily get away with a non-k CPU as well.
