Thoughts?

Father-in-law wants a desktop that can run Google Earth well among simple things like Microsoft office, etc.
This looks over-powered for the price, but I just want some other thoughts.
Thanks.

I'm open to suggestions for anything that is better for the price (max $600). Buying today.

If he's just looking for something to run basic apps, you don't need somehting that strong. Give me a second, I'll search.

This could do what you're asking for, but may not stand the test of time with it's lack of a dualcore CPU.

This one has a dual core and you may upgrade the RAM to 8GB at a later date if needed.
However, this one is $100 more expensive, but it's stronger so it's your choice.
