some parts im pulling from my old rig

the wd blue hd, the video card, the case and the power supply are things I will be using that I have.
the rest is what I need an opinion on.
also im not attached to the video card. but I don't think its worth purchasing a new one since amd said they have a new crop coming out in a few months.

Agreed, also common rule of thumb is 8g of 1600 ram is all that's needed for a gaming rig

That CPU ain't better than the i5 4670k bruh. the i5 happens to be cheaper aswell.
CPU is good for overclocking though. VERY good.

but i5>

worth mentioning: power consumption is sick difference. the i5 is soo much cheaper choice after only half a years usage.
even the intel i7 is after 6 months of usage cheaper than the 9590 AMD

as long as you have a ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z it's all ok ;)
However, another cooler will be necessary to reach 5ghz.

I'm still recommending i5 or i7 though.

you do realize, the 9590's base clock is at 4.7ghz, and 5 at turbo?
Most people struggle to OC it to even 5.0, spending so much $$$ to get .3ghz to OC is not a good OCing cpu..
Asus board you mentioned is another $200+ and even then, lots of people are having stability problems reaching 5.0 or higher.

Much better to spend $$$ on 8320/50/70 w/ a decent board instead of a 200+ board to OC it easily to 4.5, cos they are pretty much the same CPU as 9590, especially when you get a good one and reach 4.7+.
