Okay so I am starting college soon and need a laptop for when I go away. Basically I'm looking for a laptop that can handle lower quality games such as runescape and league of legends, and able to handle netflix and youtube. I have like $600 to work with if it's impossible to get one for that price just lmk

The real question here is...how long do you want it to last. You can GET one for $600, but I won't promise it will last very long, especially if you'll be in a dormitory.

by last do you mean the battery or the actual product?

Well, a normal gaming laptop starts at about $1000 for the low end...which I understand you do need, but can't afford atm. The deal is that when you try to make a $1000 laptop for $600...you have to skimp everywhere.

So it could be anything...wimpy battery, sloppily assembled, sub-par parts etc. See your PM.
