Okay so I am starting college soon and need a laptop for when I go away. Basically I'm looking for a laptop that can handle lower quality games such as runescape and league of legends, and able to handle netflix and youtube. I have like $600 to work with if it's impossible to get one for that price just lmk :)
Thanks

The real question here is...how long do you want it to last. You can GET one for $600, but I won't promise it will last very long, especially if you'll be in a dormitory.

by last do you mean the battery or the actual product?

Well, a normal gaming laptop starts at about $1000 for the low end...which I understand you do need, but can't afford atm. The deal is that when you try to make a $1000 laptop for $600...you have to skimp everywhere.

So it could be anything...wimpy battery, sloppily assembled, sub-par parts etc. See your PM.

I would think this would be the best you'll be able to get in your price range:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314535

Will handle your games 100% fine, as well as 90% of all other games at low-med settings at native resolution.

E: If you can wait and spend a little over your budget, you could look into http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314807
