I'd use 16GB of RAM instead of 32 and get a gtx 970 instead of a gtx 760
unless you run virtual machines n shit u don't need that much
if you want nice fans you can go with corsair or noctuas

Really only need 8GB for gaming.

Get a 970/980

Look into a modular PSU if that's something you would like.

16GB ram instead of 32GB ram. 970 instead of 760, pretty much what Disturb said.

Thanks so much, this is the exact kind of input I was hoping for.

I'm hesitant to purchase a 970 as I feel the 760 exceeds my needs already. I suppose I went a bit overboard on RAM though, I'll very likely drop that down to 16 GB.

I'll consider that case, seems a little safer in terms of fitting everything. Any issue with the Motherboard I picked out? Seems very similar to the ones you listed here.

Like others have said, you could go down to 8GB of RAM for gaming purposes. 16 is a lot. Then get the GTX 970. That'll last you a long time.

I went with a Corsair 450D with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

like others have said only need 8gb ram and get the 970.
I used to 5 box rift/wow and that was the only time I could have honestly used more than 8gb of ram.
also with your budget no reason not to get the 970
depending on your intentions you can get by with a hyper 212 evo instead of watercooling
again with your budget could spring for the 540 air as well
could get a 240 ssd as well depending on which ssd you get the difference in a 120gb v 240gb is like $30-40

got a quick build together for $1,330 with those changes

If you want to do really high-end gaming (which a 1500 dollar budget can easily do), then get a 970. 32GB of RAM is way overkill. Like everyone has said, 8GB is plenty. I have 16GB but I do some other stuff on here where 16GB is nice. Case that shaft said for sure. Everything else is fine - if you save any money from switching RAM and GPU around then get a bigger SSD.
