what i have
970 x2
cpu cooler
OS
Back up HDD

What i'd like to see
Black / Red component color coordination
Main SSD drive (256 is treating me really well on my current HTPC, which im using for gaming atm)
nice looking case that looks good with the red / black interior
ac wireless

Every time i build, i end up at like $1000, and i've seen some really smart builds here, so i thought maybe you guys could bring me back to reality :)
I want to do some 4k gaming, going to use my 1080p monitor until i find a 4k one that i really like.

let me know what you come up with, and any help is much appreciated

went slightly over budget, but here's my attempt (critism much appreciated)

Went with an i7 just because i can price match it to best buy and use my gift card

/e just realized i went over budget and don't even have wireless... what do you guys think, go down to an i5 and get a better mobo or get a pci wireless card?

gaming and wireless don't work well together.
Use i5 unless you actully multi task a lot or render shit.

buy cheaper case and switch to evo ssd or buy a nicer full tower

i do want it to look nice, something to stand out from just an average tower, if you have a suggestion on a nice one, please enlighten
As far as the wireless is concerned, im going to be moving soon, and im not sure i'll be able to wire it well depending on location of the router, but i would very much agree, if i can wire it, it will be done

i know the i5 is a better choice for the $, so im probably going that route, just the price tag on that i7 seemed pretty solid to me.

i always thought adata was a pretty decent brand, i have it in my htpc and i love it (although, thats probably because i went from an HDD). you think going up to an evo will make a pretty solid difference?
