1. You should be fine with a 50 foot cable. There likely won't be any discernible latency.
2. Size itself doesn't matter as long as the resolution is the same. Its still the same number of pixels to render.
3. The Hz rating on a monitor is different from a TV. The TV's refresh rate is used internally for motion interpolation and active 3D. TV's don't normally accept an external source frequency that high. However, they can be set to it. Simply plug your PC into the TV and open the Nvidia or Catalyst control panel. Change the option on the monitor setting to 1920x1080 @ 120 Hz. If the TV actually displays the picture, you're fine. If its distorted in any way or just black, then try lowering the frequency in the control panel to 75 Hz. Its really just trial and error. Some TVs are locked from external high frequency input.
