i have the Cooler Master Hyper T4 but it's too wide, it blocks two ram channels, making me unable to use them.
I need a smaller cooler, one that will fit with my board.. asus M5A97.

not to sure about water cooling..
and certainly not for that much money.

need to keep it ~50$.

The problem is that there isn't a way to attach the fan vertically because the way the mounting is set up.

Just use your same cooler but change the fan orientation to pull instead of push. Its a bit lower airflow, but it won't block your RAM slots. If you aren't overclocking, you won't notice any difference in performance.

i dont know the correct terms but it's not the fan that's blocking it's whatever the fan goes on, the metal part.
it only mounts on horizontally and it blocks the ram slots.

It does not just mount on horizontally.

Turn it the other way.
