Hey I'm looking for a good ssd, not a clue what to look for or what's good. I'm wanting the best one for under 150$ cad. Samsung 840. I haven't read anything about the 850.

That was the link so I assume it's one of the better ones for that price range?

on userbenchmark, it says the 850 is 40% faster, and for only 10$ more on newegg, thinking of going with this and when it arrives i'll ask you guys on how to install it

just read a few articles now. the 840 evo 250 gb was selling for 100$ just recently, so 150$ for the 850 sounds a bit much. or is the 850 only 110$? if so, BIN that bad boy

/edit: looks like the new features only work for windows. dunno if that's a problem for you.

i'm on windows 8, i just paid 162$ with shipping and taxes for the 850.
