Budget: 2-2,5k~
More specific use (what games, what programs): For now, I'm only playing D2 with 4 windows but want more and will most likely buy new games with higher sound/image/speed quality requirements when I get my new computer.
Regular stuff like word/excel/office/etc...
Youtube, Netflix/etc...

Planned time until purchase: Boxing day or so, wanna take advantage of the deals.
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes
Do you have any specific preferred components?: sound/image/speed is important
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Have my own speaker, may include wireless card but not needed.
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: What ever is the best with my budget, not overclocking.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Canada, Qc but can even get it close to the lines (in or out of Canada, I don't mind but not too far from Quebec +/- 45mins in US if so.) if required/cheaper haha!

What are your preferences in case style? (lights, flashy, dull, etc) I'll watch the screen so I don't mind.
Are you planning to use multiple monitors? Not atm and that doubt it'd change.
Are you looking for upgrade-ability? Not necessarily but can be a plus.
Do you have any preferred brands? No.
Can you reuse any components from an older build? Yes but will most likely not. Maybe hard drive as backup but that's it
Is there anything else you think we should know? I love my gf?
Seriously, it's a new challenge for me so I'll take any input. (saw/read the sticky)
I will most likely keep this computer for a good 10 years as I did with the one I have atm.

do you actually intend to spend 2000$ or are you just saying that's the highest you'll go? considering that you didnt give any specific examples of a hardcore game you want to play, you'll do quite fine with half that budget.

Well, you can run 4 D2 windows and only spend about 700 or so. What other games are you planning on buying that would warrant spending up to $2500?

Add another 980 if you want to max your budget out.

There's really no reason to spend that much though for what you want to do with it.

Note:
The exact same setup is about $300 cheaper in the US. However, after currency conversion, you'll be spending nearly the same amount of money anyway.

2k+ for a computer with your requirements is overkill
you can build something for < $1k that will satisfy your needs and save money
