I know Newegg's PSU calculator numbers are a little high and on the safe side but I'm wondering if I'll need a better one come upgrade time.

I currently have:
Corsair HX750
AMD FX-6300
2x DDR3 4GB 1600
R9 280X
SSD
CD/DVD-RW
Additional 2x internal HDD
3x 120mm + 2x 80mm case fans
External sound card

Newegg's calculator recommends a minimum of 880W.

I will be upgrading to:
AMD FX-8350
CM Hyper 212 Evo
Corsair 450D (which will put me at 2x 140mm + 3x 120mm case fans and probably more once I figure out how much room I have left)

Will my HX750 will be able to handle everything?

lol ur hx750 is still overkill, so don't worry
tho u should get 8320E instead of 8350.

Why is that? According to benchmark results, the 8320E doesn't even seem worth it to me. I'm upgrading for better performance. While I understand the 8320E consumes way less energy, I'm more after performance, and benchmarks aren't impressing me right now.

Actually now that I look into it, some people don't even recommend the 8350 over the 6300. Games won't utilize the increase in cores? If that's the case, I'll just stick with the 6300 and CPU cooler for better temps and better performance. I just feel like the CPU is bottle necking my GPU.

You could run two of those 290x's and still be fine on a good 750w psu.

dis is why benchmarks are derpy. A lot of people dun know what they are seeing aside from colorful barz!
The reason why people get 8320E over 8350 is cos they are the same CPU.. but 8320e clocked lower and uses less energy, which means that you can overclock it like crazy, which can either match or go beyond 8350 performance while saving money.
it's also the reason why people get 6300 over the 6350, 6300 uses less energy, so it can OC way easier etc.etc.
and yeah, gaming wise, upgrading 6300 to 8350 won't be worth it.
just overclock your 6300, if you have an aftermarket CPU cooler.
Why do you feel that the CPU is bottlenecking your GPU? what GPU do you have? what games does it struggle in?

not really m8, the 290x's draw like 300watts each...

I don't know anything about overclocking and don't feel comfortable doing it. Even if someone tells me, "click this, this, and this and you're good and safe", I'm still skeptical. I know people have overclocked the 6300 with the 212 EVO but I still don't feel comfortable doing it myself.

Recently I bought Wolfenstein: The New Order and Far Cry 4 and my computer struggles with both games, especially with Wolf. I can barely play Wolf on the lowest settings (extremely choppy). And FWIW, my CPU has been overheating a bit lately, which is why I'm going with the 212 EVO and new thermal paste to try to keep it as cool as possible for better performance.

your 750w will be fine as long as you keep it single card. gpu = 250w, cpu = 125w, add in everything else and you're well under your power limit. like very under.

What's Ur gpu?
6300 is really easy to overclock with 212.. U don't even have to go crazy.. Just clock it to 4.0 it'll be literally nothing for that cpu. But if Ur uncomfortable with it, then oh well.
That cpu shouldn't bottleneck anything yet, it might be that you have a weak gpu. But yeah, heating problems can also cause chopping as well.
