Could I hypothetically buy a computer from wall Mart cheaip upgrade the video card and ram and be able to play counter strike go on high setting?

Whats ur budget. Better off making yourself so you get components of high quality

Yes. With the upgrade of PSu too.
But a 800 prebuilt should be able to anyway, and with that budget, Ur way better off making Ur own. Cos a 800 prebuild is like 500 with shitty stuff here and there.

yeah but if you're going to put forth that much effort, might as well build the whole thing and make it how you want it.

Just build it yourself, it's easy and more future proof than prebuilt solutions.
