What kind of grip do you have? Some mouses are more suited for different grips, however, you can generally use any mouse and get used to it.

There are over 700 reviews regarding this mouse on Amazon and its cheaper. Great mouse for less than $20. I've been using mine for a while now.

It's better than you think. Be sure to get some nice mousepad such as qpad ct or steelseries qck also

A mousepad is a mousepad. Just use cheese paper if you want to. Who cares?

Whatever floats your goat

there's a difference in friction between mousepads, and depending on surface of the mousepad it'll worn out your skatez less.
Mousepad is just as important as mouse if you're a frequent user ;)

I use mine at home for 2-6 hours a day and at work for about 8 hours. Don't care either way. Mouse skates are designed to reduce friction so it slides easier. The user just gets used to whatever they're using.

Personally, the mousepad doesn't matter at all. The only reason I use one is so the desk doesn't wear out.

Did you actually mean to write <$30 (less than $30), or is $30 your minimum?

If you're looking for something above $30 like posted, I would go with Logitech g502

Pretty much sums up mousepads. I'm sure there's a difference for some, but it's so negligible and variable that it's not something worth discussing.
