osu gonna look smooth as butter, esp considering moving from 5ms response to 1ms means a world of difference in that game

also jk the monitor purchase voided because i bought both things sep and the system didn't recognize i used the code on both and just voided the second purchase

but i used the 10$ off (instead of 25$ off) code and it worked this time. oh well, only 15$ more, nbd. still a huge discount from its original price. 425$ spent all in all.

>_<

It really won't help your scores lol

Now you'll just suck at twice the framerate!

1ms gtg? I wonder what the actual response time is.

/e

Looks like the actual response rate is 7ms

And input lag is 23ms

And just for fun : http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime

double edit

thats a good price for the gpu :o

i average 210-220ms

where do you get the 7/23ms figures?

it's better than my acer s231hl anyway lmao

and hell yes it is. idgaf for the free games, all i play is league/osu
i know the monitor won't help a tremendous amount considering my main issue is tap speed but it'll help a tad.

Got the numbers from an actual review, Where they hooked it up to machines & Tested the input/white to black response times.

Although that is a VERY quick screen, It's never going to be 1ms. I hate the whole monitor marketing bullshit.

1000000000000000000000:1 DYNAMIC ratio! etc, Its all bullshit.
Most specs on a monitor are either completely fake, Or twisted in a way that it comes out in their favor (Aka Grey to grey response times)

I've personally tried 1/2/3/5/7 ms monitors, They're all damn well the same.

The biggest change will be with refresh rate, 120hz is sexy smooth.

i was averaging 210-220~

yeah the contrast ratios are all bullshit lol it's just panel types and quality of each panel that matters, contrast ratios past a certain point are useless
vg248qe definitely a good grab for 210 though brand new eh?

Honestly not sure what they normally go for.

But 200~ for a 144hz sounds pretty good.

They had some nice 1440p's for $260~

VG248QE are very consistantly $250-280, I was quite surprised to see them this cheap.

144hz and one of the nicest looking TN panels I've ever seen; see bottom of following article for calibration settings: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/vg248qe-144hz-gaming-monitor,3609-3.html
