If you can get Windows 8.1 from other sources, you can save yourself up to $100.


That build is overkill for your games listed, but it'll handle anything you throw at it in the near future. If you want something lower on the budget let me know and I'll move things around.

Win8.1 comes with a key, that's the important part. He also has a laptop and I'm sure he has a USB.

Optical Drives are no longer necessary and therefore I don't recommend one unless stated one is needed (it should be asked in the sticky imo).


@OP: If you do want an optical drive for occasional use, I recommend getting a $20 external. Obsolete technology is obsolete.

they are not obsolete yet, far from that.
thing isnt a casette player..

Last sentence was a joke, ofc. I love optical drives, they look great with my punch cards and vacuum tubes.
