My computer is roughly 3-4 years old so with black friday around the corner I'm looking to upgrade.

My current budget is $800~

I'm going to parting out some things from my current pc. I'm not looking for anything too grand super hi-end, but being able to play games on 1080p med-high settings fine while watching stream/streaming at the same time. Currently this is what I've come up with. I am looking for suggestions on better options that's within my budget limit as well as pros/cons on my current setup that I may not be aware of.

My friend suggest I get a sound card, but is it necessary? I am looking to purchase it soon, I don't think I'm going to be gambling on black friday/cyber monday.

I see, I'll probably just hold back on the sound card till later in the future if I ever need it.

I'm looking for quiet models if possible, I don't like fans roaring while running.

loudest part is the vid card, but it's at 30 dba at idle which is fairly quiet :)

also, you should wait on the processor/mobo until microcenter's black friday, you can bundle the CPU with a mobo for an additional $40 off.

also, if you plan to overclock off the bat after you build, get the noctua cooler, if it's not a big deal and you're not looking for crazy clocks... stick with the hyper 212+

Get the Z97 board if you can afford it. No reason to get the old Z87 chipset.

The reason I'm getting the Z87 is because it has 2 extra Usb 2.0 ports compared to the Z97 which only has 2 which sort of limits me

and it has a $30 rebate :)

Get a USB hub if you need more.
