What is the point of the move? In gaming the noticeable difference.. well it doesn't exist... only in work load applications will you notice a difference between your 8320 and an i5 or an i7.

makes no sense to upgrade.
i wouldn't... you won't notice, if any, performance gains.

basically, don't upgrade, wait a couple of years until a new architecture comes out for consumer use.

why bother spending that money for going intel if you got a recent amd cpu....
i'd rather spend that money on something that is more worth it...
like getting a new pair of boots or invest it to make more money that you can blow somewhere else

This.

Either save your money, upgrade GPU if you're looking for more frames, or get really nice monitor if you got the itch to add on.

He didn't ask for y'all opinions on whether to upgrade or not. He wants to upgrade that's it.

i5 beats any amd processor out on the market right now.
octocore, hexacore doesn't matter

i5 4690k > all amd
especially in games.
