if you really want to, you can save $60 and get a Hybrid 1TB drive in lieu of an SSD + HDD combo. I personally wouldn't, but the option is there.

I would stay with a 4690k

Keep the 4690k since its basically the same price as the 4690 but you can overclock it in the future if/when it becomes necessary.

If for some reason you don't stick with the 4690k, you have zero need for a Z97 motherboard and could get a B85 board and save $40. However, again, this is not recommended as you lose the "free" upgrade later with the loss of overclocking ability.
