Based on a pre-tax budget of 1395.47:

If you don't need an optical drive, you can remove it and save yourself $18. Should come out to be $1534.05 after tax. Also, you can spend an extra $40 if you want the FX-8350 instead of the FX-8320. It comes factory clocked 500 MHz higher with supposedly slightly higher binning, but that can be hit and miss anyway. Personally, I wouldn't spend the extra $40, but to each their own.

Finally, there are better cases, but you wanted a red one. You can get an all black case and just get fans with red LED's.

I dont exactly need a red case :P Are there better ones, and would it make a huge difference?

It won't make a huge difference. Corsair makes good cases. There are ones that are a lot better, but they don't really fit in your budget. You'd save maybe $15 or $20 and get an all black one that performs similarly as far as air flow and cable management.

Corsair 200r, shd be around 50.
Cougar solution
Nzxt source case
Last 2 are cheaper alternatives,
Getting a good case will mean easier to manage cables, so it keeps Ur temps cooler with the airflow

I'll post a build later if I get home in time

u dont need a thermal paste, cos it's already preapplied.
it's something that goes between your CPU and cooler.

I know u like red, but here's a blue build and you save $$$

I really like to burn CD's and DVD's, what kind of drive fits into both those build?

I don't mind spending all of it, saving isn't really a big deal :)

Also! I dont have a mouse, should I just get a $20 microsoft one? I don't really a fancy one :P

The CD/DVD Burner I posted is just in case you needed it. A lot of people have no use for them. If you won't use it, save yourself the $18.

Also, both of the keyboards we posted come bundled with a mouse. You're fine in that department.

B)

I went a head and took DeX's build and swapped cases to the Corsair 200R, and added a Wi-Fi adapter

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/3KYBxr

In a PM he said If I really wanted red I could get LED fans

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/aerocool-case-fan-ds120mmred

Would those be good for this build?
