/e he has no plans to OC the CPU so that is why I did the 4690 and not the 4690K, and he wants to use the stock cpu cooler for whatever fuck reason lol

No reason not to get the unlocked processor for a few bucks more, it holds its value better. Don't stick with stock heatsink, not good for many reasons.

They're manufacturer rebates, not through newegg.

Reading reviews on the board i chose, and the one you chose, they are HORRIBLE boards

I didnt find one good review on them, so I decided to stretch the price a little and found this one

All the rebates I've gotten were 6-8 weeks processing and shipping iirc or pay 10% of your rebate for 1-2 weeks express. I always paid the $1 or $2 fee.

I'm not getting that motherboard he chose. The reviews on it are terrible. I thought WD was the hdd of choice? Or is that just for raid aetups?
