Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get me a new gaming pc which can handle the newest games on high settings. I've got 2K to spend on it but sadly I do not know enough about computer parts to choose the parts myself.

I guess I'll use this form I found

Budget: $1500-2300
More specific use (what games, what programs): All kinds of games
Planned time until purchase: As soon as possible
Do you need an Operating System?: Yes
Do you have any specific preferred components?: I would preffer a silent cooling
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Yep
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: I have no idea what overclocking actually is. Only thing I know it makes your rig go faster, don't know the bad things though. :S
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: No

If anyone would be so kind to point me in the right way, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

this is what i recommend: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/ghGLf7

all parts were chosen with the concept of "silent cooling" in mind. the loudest part of the pc would be the graphics card. the more quieter graphic cards are ASUS Stixx and MSI Twin Frozr. id get a 780 ti, 970 or 980.

the prices listed are german prices for a ball park price. you can look for the parts from these Belgium sites:

http://www.codima.be/
http://www.forcom.be/ <--- Sells lots of overclocking, cooling, and gaming-specific components
http://www.info-occases.be/catalogue.php <--- Kind of like a Radio Shack for Belgium, sells more accessories (ink, toner, wires, etc) with a few PC parts on the side
http://tones.be/
http://www.bytesatwork.be/ <---- Geared toward gamers

edit
what makes this computer quieter than the rest: fanless power supply, quieter cpu cooler (compared to stock), case with great noise dampening and ssd instead of hard drives (less moving components = less noise)

you might not need the powerful cpu and 16gb of ram. you can easily change to the i5 4670k and 8gb of ram. nah fuck that.

Get the MSI 780 TI Gaming (ranges from 25-30 dba)
As such, the recommended cooler posted above peaks at 36 dba, so you have to get a quieter one.
I would get http://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhd14

I recommend this case -- http://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr4blw

Then buy at least 1 of these for case fans -- http://de.pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-case-fan-nff12pwm

take the fans that come with the case, move both to the front.
place the purchased fan at the back of the case
