Hello, I have been lazy and haven't put my girlfriend's computer together yet I'm thinking this Friday of buying all the parts any suggestions/improvements please let me know, she is also going to be getting my 260X GPU so if it's better to go with a non-apu CPU let me know.

This is what I got so far:

Budget is ~650ish lower the better of course but don't want to lose to much performance where I would have to upgrade this again location is Ontario, Canada L3Z 1R7

She's going to be playing Sims4/Wow, games similar to this nothing high end highest end would be probably the next gen Sims Game hoping this will do her 3+ years and I'll make us both new computers once DDR4 has gone down in price.

e// also case is bought over a month ago so non returnable

better to go with non-apu if she's getting the 260x

keep in mind, that generally new gfx cards come out roughly every 2 years, so you will have to upgrade that down the road, it's fine for now though.

This would be what I was thinking with no APU any ideas on how to make it slightly cheaper without dropping any components yet still being fuctional?

Option 1 (Intel): http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/pYs76h
Option 2 (AMD): http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/qZpv23

would wait for others thoughts, no rush plus I think there is an amd equivalent that might work better -- like the 6800k I listed before. Not sure, but I would personally go intel here, everyone is different and the 6800k would get more probably performance if you plan on over clocking

Do you think the cooler master is necessary? Just curious i dont know anything about the case she picked it and was like build me something..

I know in my Hadron build for my 4670K build my cpus overclocked with stock cooling and hits around 40 degrees celcius if its necessary im fine with that and seeing how her build isnt overclockable

You could probably skip the 1tb hd

That ssd should have an efficient amount of space, but that's up to you.
