Hi, i need a new computer because my old one is broken :)

old pc:

- medion desktop (bought 5-6 years ago/still ran windows vista)
- dual core 2ghz
- 4gb ram
- 512 graph card
- dvd player writer
- 500 gb hd

I know its a crappy pc, but it could play d2/guild wars a few years ago, and even d3 (bit slow though)
Now i dont play many games anymore, but i download many movies/old games(not worth to mention specs)

I want to buy a laptop now, it doesnt need top specs but i want to use it mainly to watch some movies/listen to music / word
Atm i use my ipad air for everything, but it just cant replace a normal computer/laptop.

What specs does a laptop need for these tasks?

Is a dual core fast enough? (Cuz the pc's i look at are just same speed or slower then my VERY old medion pc, also 1,5-2 ghz or am i wrong in my interpretation?

Is 4gb ram enough?
Do i need a special graphic card?
Does the screen resolution make much difference? The movies i download are mostly blu-ray 12-13gb movies... Will a high res screen make much difference?
Ssd is the new hype? Do i really need one? And how big?

I can pay whatever is needed, but i dont need a gg pro game laptop ... Just need one that is optimal for my needs and will stay optimal for at least 3-4 years

Thx,

Get this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314539
Basically the laptop im using atm. Mine is the version with i5 4200U, 1tb hdd and 6gb ram though (only differences, same exact laptop)
Its great, I paid 300$ free shipping for mine though so I got a nice deal.

The integrated 4400 can actually play D3 at 50/60fps on low settings in the native resolution.
