I'd ideally like to spend less than 100 on it.

I found this deal, which seems great for a 240gb.

Any opinions / links to other SSD's?

Thanks y'all

SanDisk Extreme II
OCZ Vector
Samsung 840 Evo/Pro/850

Are usually the best ones and not necessarily in that order.

Kingston are fine.

Personally I think the faster speed, higher longevity, and better parts of Samsung or new Crucials are worth the extra $20-30 bucks, but to each their own.

Get the very cheapest ssd you can at the size you need.
Otherwise get a Samsung 840 Evo

PNY are usually the cheapest, but I would never recommend one.

For mainstream drives (which usually have the best price:performance) it's:
Samsung > Crucial > Kingston

I wouldn't say Samsung has the best price/performance...I'd say it has the best performance but only slightly and much better reliability...

all in all, cheapest size @ your budget...they're virtually all the same for every day usage..
