Hey guys, im running a OMEN 30L Desktop GT13-1439no PC (4F0P2EA)

I want to upgrade my CPU and looking for the best way and compatible produkts.

I want to get a Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU, (im open to other CPUs with probably 16 cores/32threads? That will increase my CPU limit) but it seems like i need a upgrade on the motherboard, and prolly also other features. i might want some better cooling aswell.

Anyone can give me the best solution? What compatible motherboard should i get? Change of cooling to what product?
I want to reuse as much as possible, RAM etc, upgraded to 64GB DDR4 RAM already.

Link to my product with specifications: https://support.hp.com/dk-da/product/troubleshooting/omen-30l-desktop-pc-gt13-1000a/model/2100404774?sku=4F0P2EA
Might need to translate it or re-search it again in your pref language.

ddr4 is being used for am4 platform for amd

ddr5 for am5

processor you mentioned ( ryzen 9 9950x3d ) is for am5 platform

if you already have 64 gb ddr4 and you dont want to spend money for new ram your option is am4 for amd or intel (which i dont recommend) ,

keep in mind that 16 core processors are usually used for productivity work and they need better cooling like liquid coolers ( for example : artic liquid freezer iii pro 240 , 360 or be quiet silent loop 3 240 , 360 ) , so you will be fine with 12 core processor as well unless you have some specific use case

even 6 or 8 core processors will do the job if its only for gaming

you need to know your use case and your budget at first

didnt open the link but hope that information was helpful

You have to use ddr5 Ram with Ryzen 9 9950x3D You could go with a AM4 socket and use your old ram and MOBO If its AM4 saving you money. But Upgrading the processor is a good idea! I use the Artic Freezer 240 it works great my cpu runs under 70c almost always. As for the motherboard i would just go with something made my Asus or another similar brand. Decide weather or not you want wifi built in or not because its gonna determine the price. I can link a few here if you want. What's your budget for the motherboard? I also did not open the link. But I can say going to that new CPU will be costly because of the Motherboard and Ram upgrades needed.
