Hey guys, so a quick question for you... how much of your decisionmaking on OLEDs is affected by whether a monitor has Displayport 2.1 or not?
I'm looking to pull the trigger on the ASUS PG32UCDM, DP1.4 but the new PG27UCDM has DP2.1, which despite the short cable is "futureproofing" a bit. I read that using both ports allows you to get the 240hz with DSC, but is that still an issue? Worse case I use borderless windows for gaming. I don't think the issue with Nvidia cards on alt tabbing has been fixed yet and assuming it never does, will a display having only DP1.4 influence you to purchase another model?
