Hey all, I am currently looking at upgrading my PC to be able to do 1080P for a new golf sim.
Current PC:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 1060 (very old I know)
Asus Tuf B550 Motherboard (might be the plus but no WiFi)
64 GB DDR4
1 TB SSD Boot and 2TB HD
I am thinking about buying the 4070 TI Super that’s on sale for cyber Monday.
My main concern is, will I need to upgrade the CPU as well?
Thanks for your thoughts and opinions!

Buy the GPU either way, if you're seeing bottlenecks, buy 5700x3d (~$150 via AliExpress).

I completely agree, 4070ti is great to pair up with 5700x3d
Make sure that you update your bios before swapping the CPU
