Recently moved and my cpu/motherboard died otw, looking for replace with something similar. I have a RX 580, and the cpu motherboard combo I had at the time was i5-9400f and asrock b365m pro4.
Anything similar to i5-9400F would do for me just fine, assuming there is something more cost efficient since then. Case is micro atx.

I would go for the Asrock B650M Pro RS - one of the best value boards.
I think it's around $130, which leaves you with $270 for the CPU. At that price range, you can get a Ryzen 7 7700, which is a great value.

Since you're changing platforms, you'll need to get two RAM sticks as well. If that's included in those $400, too, then you should go with Ryzen 5 7600 and pick up two sticks of 2x16GB DDR5 with 6000mt/s and CL30-32 ~
