sorry i don't know anything about computers. I built my pc in back in 2015. I think will build a brand new pc end of 2025 and will probably invest around 3000$ CAD. but for now i gotta work with what i got.

my pc specs here

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK ATX LGA1150 Motherboard G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Team Group GX2 2.5" 1TB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card Corsair 450D ATX Mid Tower Case EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Cooler Master R4-L2R-20AC-GP 69.0 CFM 120mm and 140mm Fan

my current ram is G.Skill Sniper 8GB DDR3-1600 I think i will need 16 gb one. Will I be able to run diablo 4 on decent settings if i get a ram upgrade and which ram should I get? pls help

Here are the system requirements for Diablo 4: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/251518

Reading that it looks like if you upgrade to 16gbs of ram, you should be able to run on medium graphics @ 60 fps.

For RAM you’ll need to get ddr3 again, I’ll try to look up some for ya in a bit

Edit: Newegg has the 16gb version of your ram, so that’s the best bet: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-ddr3-1600/p/N82E16820231849

Yep! Or if you have two extra slots available you can just put the new ones in.

These won’t be able to be used in a future pc since we’re on DDR5 now for modern day motherboards.

I’d say download D4 and see how it runs currently, then get the ram if it’ll help in the meantime. Sales happen near the end of the year in the US so I’d wait til then to buy everything and save some money

As long as you have a sata port on your new motherboard it'll work :)
