So thermalright has been cooking.... but which one do you think is better?
Arguably the best CPU coolers that you can buy for such a cheap buck. Is the little newer Phantom Spirit better than the Peerless Assassin?

Thoughts & why

PS is better than the PA, but honestly both are great for the price. PS is a bit bigger and has another heat pipe. I have a PA 120SE for a Ryzen 7 7700X and it handles everything amazingly

Yeah I'm going for almost exactly that.

Case: Zalman I3 Neo ARGB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2GHz 104MB
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB EAGLE OC ICE
MOBO: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WIFI
RAM: Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5200MHz CL40 Vengeance RGB AMD EXPO
SSD: WD Blue SN580 1TB
CPU COOLER: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold Fully Modular 750W V2

This will be my new PC.

Still sitting and wondering if I should go 4070 super which most would lean towards instead of 4060ti but I don't think so.
Not playing 1440p so I should be fine I think.

Thoughts?

a 4070S would future proof it like you said, but a 4060ti should be good enough for your needs as long as you're fine with not being able to max out some games due to the lower VRAM :)
