Anyone know of a good tutorial that covers how to keep up with water cooling maintenance?
like checking fluids, draining, replacing fluids etc for a computer you bought online
Seems kinda complicated but everywhere i go computers are being sold with water cooling now, instead of air cooling x.x
You could watch auto mechanics service radiators, it's fundamentally the same concept. Auto store has great tools for doing maintenance work, hoses, pumps, electric pumps, etc.
Personally, I'd go with a Noctua air cooler over liquid cooling they've got good spec sheets and variations of their main designs to fit weird conditions.
If you go liquid, be mindful of metals and how they react to each other and the coolant solution. Seen that Linus guy learn a hard lesson with corrosive contact. Also, make sure pump primed and not dry run (keep at bottom of system so always has fluid)
