2) That GPU is a monster compared to the CPU. I suspect you'll have a BIG bottleneck on CPU-demanding applications.
He said he does 99% gaming, and 7800X3D is like the second best gaming CPU out right now.

I know that'll cause waves, but the savings in building yourself vs prebuilt just aren't as big as they used to be.
That and there's also warranties and cable management I don't have to do.
It does goes against my better judgement, but I think that's the route I'm going to go.
Honestly if it's in your budget there's no shame in it. They usually come with a pretty good warranty too in case you have some issues
