Windows 10 is unsupported in Oct of next year. I’m hoping(coping) they extend it as I’m still not a fan of Win11.

Intel also hasn’t been innovative in like 10 years. Glad AMD has picked up their slack by making affordable CPUs that aren’t breaking the bank

W10 extended lifetime security updates (ESU) already exists, if you hand over M$ $61 for the first year...

My gripe with the current AMD cpu's is they are incredibly inefficient at idle, due to their chiplet infinity fabric design, which is most of my usage. They are amazing in load scenarios.
Intel (if you don't also consider the instability and trash microcode) is the opposite: Terribly inefficient at load, amazing at idle.

Also, you may want to see this. (In reference to: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=103818531&f=188)

I'm also still windows 10 but will eventually move to 11 when I get my new PC (In a year or so)

it's a shame that Intel is not fixing their CPUs, especially when they have AMD sneaking in from behind in the past couple of years, I may even consider moving to AMD if Intel doesn't pick up their slack.

I believe they made an official statement not long ago, and there was suppose to be a software update to address these issue (however the point is that this "Update" eventually limits their CPU) which in turn sounds like a Scam since you won't be able to run the CPU at max capacity, which defeats the purpose of paying premium price.

Hold out for the diagnostic tool and microcode update, switch to AMD. When everybody follows suite, buy hordes of Intel stock.
