What are the most benefits / programs mac offers that others dont?

I mean, there's always an alterative for other platforms.

Davinci and final cut work amazingly on Apples new architecture. Base models M series can be great budget workhorses.

Any other sw or hw work much better?

If you are doing professional work, highly recommend the newer Macs with the M1/M2 ARM based chip. The Mackbook's that use this have incredible compute power with very very very long battery life. Have a company one, and compile times and linear solver times went from minutes to seconds in many cases. Also, dev tools, sdks, etc, tend to be easier to install and maintain under Mac (*nix) type OS.

Debian Linux supreme OS though.

in general ease of use and security* under a UNIX-based OS (which can be installed on lots of PCs btw)
but if you're on budget or gaming I would not recommend them

*) for 3 years or so
