talk to me about the best possible deals atm

I've found top of the line pre-builts for roughly 2800. Does that seem reasonable to you or are there nasty deals you guys know of?

Not sure about current deals on prebuilts, they may be waiting for the next Nvidia cards to be announced later on in the year

$2800 would be reasonable for a prebuilt if it was top of the line & had a 4090 + high end cpu + all the bells & whistles like water cooling. The only ones I saw in that price range from a quick glance had 4070s/4080s though. You’re always going to pay a hefty premium on higher end prebuilds though

I hate water cooling, desperately Iso fan only

Newegg and ibp had 4090s for 2.8

You can build your own with reliable components for 2.8k, all top of the line hardware.

Prebuilt will give you low-end hardware.

The lowest one I saw on Newegg was 3k for a 4090 prebuild(https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-0012-00741?Item=9SIADFRK9V9424). IBP I only found some @ $3500 but their site is kind of confusing for me lol

Don't think you can get fans only, higher end processors need AIOs. What are you using the PC for? You can probably get a lower end processor to get a fan only build if you're just gaming

Where do you see this?

Ive compared multiple rigs now on pc part picker v their prebuilt competitors and the prebuilts are all comparable in price (200-300 more) with the labor, and I cannot build a PC. Last time I tried to change my gpu and fried my shit so I'm not touching it

I'm upgrading from a 1080 for gaming purposes, but id like it to be future proof

Just a quick slap together for proof of concept, but it's fine. If you take the proper precautions, you will be fine building your own PC.

AMD is killing Intel, but okay.

E: Cooler will need to be changed out for something extremely beefy, not what I have linked, keep that in mind.

My brother said the same thing, but it's a brand loyalty kind of thing - I've never had a single product of intel's in my entire life that has failed me - and I've heard of complications from AMD components

I'll peep this and tysm for helping out
