I need secondary opinions before I go ahead and purchase this.

Anything I should keep in mind when owning this pc as time goes on? What should I replace over time?

I don't know much about pcs

I mean.. normally people purchase prebuild because of "value" but it's always the wrong decision/choice, cuz they usually sell you junk that they can't sell on its own by bundling it up. Generally you end up spending more trying to upgrade prebuilds in the future, and depending how long, it's just better to get another new computer rather than overpaying for outdated tech.

For example, same cpu/GPU/ram etc. but much higher quality psu, ssd etc. and you're saving roughly 800 bucks.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/v2wpGP
Base Total: $1123.93
Promo Discounts: -$5.00
Total: $1118.93

pick the cpu cooler + case + wifi adapter + pay someone locally to build you and install OS for 40-100$ out of the 800 you saved.

For the love of god don't do this. That GPU retails for $600. The CPU $210. PSU, case, mobo, and fans can't be more than $2-300.

For $2k, you can get a much more beastly PC if you buy the parts. Just look up a tutorial on youtube, its near idiot proof. Hardest part is plugging in the PSU to the mobo and peripherals.

I'm an intel guy, so can't comment on AMD CPU. Where's this from? nzxt?

Brands matter for these parts. What type of RAM? PSU? mobo? ssd?

At surface level, that is a slightly better pc. Still, though. Cheaper to buy it all and assemble yourself. If that isn't enough of a reason, then realize these companies hire teenagers/idiots to assemble these pc's and they could give a shit less if they install it correctly.

These companies will blame you if there are issues with DOA pc's. A friend of mine ordered a prebuilt cyber-p PC and the mobo was installed with the incorrect screws, so they were stripped and damaged the board. He couldnt even remove the mobo because of the screw just kept spinning.

I know I sound like a broken record. But this stuff happens more often than you think. At the very least, order a prebuilt from one of these companies through best buy as their return policy is primo. Less risk.

/e I would be happy to assist you with picking out a PC thru pcpartspicker, and be available to guide you every step of the way should you need it.
