I am presently using the router my ISP gave me. It doesn't stay connected to the internet. This is the second router my ISP has given me, two different models, and neither one of them can stay connected to the internet on a regular basis. So, I am looking to buy a good reliable router that will keep me online. I am looking for this router to supply whole house wifi as well as staying connected to the internet. Thank you for your recommendations. :)

Here at Wal-mart we now use Netgear Products.
Specifically we are using Netgear Nighthawk ( Wifi 6 Gen )
Imagine 400 Employees + 100 Customers all connected to the same router with minimal to no errors.
Fast & Reliable.

Avoid anything that says TP-Link or Belkin.

Single floor and no ether net just a router from ISP.

depending on budget, id suggest a dream machine by ubiquiti if it is in your range. i use ubiquiti systems and they are the most solid i've ever had - never been down in the last 5 years except when I updated to some bad firmware version. (or dream router is cheaper)

What model of ubiquiti systems would you recommend? I would like to additional replace my landline through the router.

i don't think that part will be possible unfortunately.
you can bridge your router but your ISP device acts as a modem as well and that is where the landline is coming through.

i should mention these are not directly plug and play either - you need some kind of tech mind set to get through it, it has instructions but you need to go through them carefully. easier one to set up would be the dream router.
id suggest googling 'dream router setup' before you pulled the pin on it to see what you're getting into

dream machine would be better if you have wifi cameras and stuff you are hardwiring.

you will need to know how to bridge your other ISP provided device if you do this as well.
