Looking to spend about 800-900 CAD total, I already have a gtx 980ti I will be using for the GPU unless there is a specific reason not to, card does seem huge so im not sure if it fits in a mid case. Might resell it and buy a diff one?

Will likely resell the rig within 18-24 months, won't be overclocking. Just looking for something with bare bones mobo/psu/case, 500gb-2TB solid state and mostly a mid end psu/gpu combo.

What are you looking to play on this computer? What resolution do you plan to game at? a 980Ti is quiet dated. If you just want to run Diablo it wouldn't be an issue but if you wanted to run some upcoming titles, especially at higher settings or resolutions it will be a struggle.

Nothing in particular, my current rig is

Nvidia GTX 1070
AMD Ryzen 5 6core 3.4
500GB Solid state drive
2x8 GB Ram

runs everything I need it to np, I just resell and rebuild every 18-24 months so I recoup most of my costs. Looks like the 980TI still is ranked like upper third of gpus and sells for 300 from what I saw, so i dunno if i can sell it and get a better one for the same price?
